HR CERTIFICATION IN TANZANIA
Professional Certification/Credentialing is a concept that has long been in existence all across the world. The goal is to ensure that we have professionals who meet, through understanding and practice, the standard best practices (international and/or local).
HR Certification has also been in existence for over half a century now. Some countries/states require it while some don’t. In Tanzania, certification/credentialing is not a new concept. In fact in some fields (eg. medicine, pharmacy, some levels of accounting & audit etc), a form of certification or license is mandatory. However, this has not been the case for HR.
Earning a credential as an HR professional is a great way to cement your commitment to professionalism, to increase the perceived seriousness of your profession, and a great way to boost your career by standing out, especially at a time when not many HR professionals in Tanzania are certified.
